That said - many smaller local chair hire companies can provide excellent service and prices and many operate from home addresses. Remember - you will paying over a deposit of typically 50% often many months before your event and paying the full amount before the event. You want to make sure the company we still be there when the date of your event arrives. Ideally get references from from previous customers and check whether they are a registered company or not.

Ask for reccomendations - event and bridal forums are a good place for that but look out for 'unreliable' posters who may being hire companies themselves posting to get publicity. You can of course also ask your venue for reccomendations and many increasingly stock their own chair covers that you can hire. This often means you can save on transport charges and hopefully they will have custom chair covers designed to fit their chair specifically meaning you get a guaranteed excellent fit.
