The effect here is one of subtle refined elegance. Simple muted colours are used with sashes that pick up on the colours already present in the room. Despite the dark colour of the sdashes and lack of natural light in the room the sashes and the chair covers combine to create a remarkably light and airy ambience. It is worth noting that while a classic brocade fabric has been used for the table linen simple plain fabrics have been used for the chair covers. This way the chair covers enhance the effect of the table linen rather than competing with it and the overall setting does not become too fussy as it could if the chair covers were also brocade fabrics.

Another unlikley setting for a wedding reception transformed by a combination of backlit skirting and drapes and the use of chair covers. The chocolate brown carpet and tan windowless walls no longer dominate the room but actually provide a great contrast and balance to the vast expanses of white and ivory linen that the chair covers make up the visual bulk of.

As a complete contraste this 'al fresco' scene shows the amazing versatility of chair covers. They transform what could otherwise be a rather ordinary dining scene into one that is completely unforgetable.
